Pleasance is the name given by Kiersten to the territory she lives in with Lewis and Wilbur.
From what we have seen, Pleasance seems to be a place with lots of forests and vegetation. It has a big lake inhabited by kelpies, with a large kelp forest inside and a variety of different kelps/algae. The water is pure, not polluted by human activities, which is appreciated by the kelpies.
During their first months in this territory, Lewis asked Kiersten to name the place after the first word that comes to her mind when she thinks about it. Kiersten decided to name it Pleasance, as she seemed to really enjoy the place so far.
Pleasance is a territory with plenty of prey, and diverse biomes (forests, rivers, swamps...). A kelp forest is located in the lake, most likely made by Lewis.
▪ Pleasance's name is a reference to Red Dead Redemption II's Pleasance, which is a point of interest in the state of Lemoyne.
While the name in the game is rather ironic due to the events that occurred in this place, Pleasance in Water Demons really is pleasant from the characters' point of view.
