Lewis is a freshwater kelpie stallion, and the father of Wilbur.
Formerly a tamed steed, he returned to the wild to be with his mate Kiersten.
Lewis is a particularly bulky and strong freshwater kelpie stallion, similarly built to a draft horse. He has white/grayish fur with dark red stripes and mane. He has a big scar on his neck and two different colored eyes (right eye is red, left eye is blue).
After the timeskip of "Interlude", Lewis appears to have much more scars on his body, probably from fights he had with pegasi. His left eye is now blind and has a milky white color, with scars around it.
In abyssal form, Lewis has blue and purple shades with a reddish gradient toward his back and tail. His fins mostly keep the appearance of his mane, and are also divided into two parts where he has his neck scar. His gills are glowing in red and white colors. His tail tip is fish-like.
Once a tamed kelpie, Lewis was apparently a very docile stallion. When he returned to the wild, he quickly adapted and is not as calm as he once was. However, he always prefered to solve situations without fighting, chosing the reasonable options first before fighting if no other choice was possible.
Despite being cold and hostile to strangers, Lewis was surprisingly soft with his close family, especially his mate Kiersten. Always willing to play with his son Wilbur, he even accepted to have Vasco around, and grew attached to the young stallion as well.
After Vasco's death, and the timeskip of "Interlude", Lewis seems to have become extremely bitter, less prone to play, and more serious and aggressive.
▪ It is currently unknown how Lewis got the big scar on his neck. The other ones, as well a his blind eye, were most likely caused by fights with pegasi.
▪ Lewis has heterochromia, his two eyes have different colors. Now that his left eye is blind (the blue one), only his red eye can see, symbolizing his bitterness and view of the world after Vasco's death.
