Wilbur is one of the main protagonists in Water Demons.
He is a foal with a lot of curiosity towards the world he's just discovering.
Wilbur looks a lot like Lewis; his coat is white, with stripes and accents that are more reddish than his father's. His snout is reddish, as well as his hooves. He doesn't have any feathers like his mother does, but seems to share some stripe patterns with Kiersten. His eyes are bright blue, with reddish outlines around his irises.
In episode 11, Wilbur's tail was broken by a pegasus and never healed properly.
Showing a lot of interest in everything new that comes to him, Wilbur is just starting to discover the world with a lot of enthusiasm. He doesn't seem to be very aware that the surface is dangerous, and despite his curiosity, he stays close to his parents most of the time.
He became more mistrustful since he was attacked by a pegasus, and is now more cautious, always keeping an eye on the sky. He still believes in the good of other species.
Kiersten
Kiersten is a very caring mother, but also quite severe and serious. She is seen teaching her son how to hunt properly and respectfully, but Wilbur seems not very fond of it. When the foal asks his mother about her odd appearance, she doesn't want to elaborate, leaving Wilbur with more questions than answers. Wilbur seems quite traumatized after escaping a pegasus attack and witnessing his violent death after Kiersten caught him.
Lewis
Lewis seems less strict than Kiersten when it comes to Wilbur ; even if he is overprotective, he is trying to let his son have more life experiences on his own, like when he allows his new friend Vasco around him despite the potential risks. Still, Lewis is keeping an eye on Wilbur no matter what, so nothing happens to him.
Vasco
Wilbur was immediately intrigued by Vasco when he saw him the first time he went outside the lake. Seeing another kelpie was very new, and the foal didn't understand the defensive attitude of his parents towards Vasco. However, it has been clear that Vasco had no intention to harm him, Wilbur likes spending time with him as Vasco has a lot of stories to tell about the world.
▪ Wilbur's design changed during the making of Episode 6, to have more natural colors. He was recolored, but patrons were able to see Episode 5 with Wilbur's old colors because of the early access.
▪ Wilbur seems to have a particular interest in bugs.
▪ Despite his pegasus ancestry from his mother's side, Wilbur doesn't show any pegasus traits and looks like an ordinary kelpie.
