Vasco is a young freshwater kelpie.
He is a wanderer, and has no territory on his own ; which is why he stays in Pleasance.
Vasco is a very common-looking freshwater kelpie. He is white, with reddish gradients and stripes. He has golden eyes and a dark red mane, which looks almost black. His most notable characteristic is the fact he has whiskers on his snout.
His abyssal appearance is unknown.
Vasco, as a solitary kelpie, is constantly looking for food and pure water, to the point he dared enter Pleasance knowing that Kiersten and Lewis already claimed this territory. Believing what Kiersten said, Vasco is used to entering their territory to steal prey. Though he doesn't seem to be very afraid of the other kelpies' presence, Vasco keeps his distance from them and does not try to fight back when Lewis chases him off.
If Vasco is scared of facing Lewis, it is not the case with Wilbur, who seems to enjoy the company of a new friend. Vasco knows a lot about the outside world and enjoys talking about the other species in the Crater. He doesn't seem to have any animosity towards Pegasi and Saltwater kelpies.
Vasco loves to draw in the sand using his kelp. He claims he is only beginning.
Wilbur
Vasco has no hostility toward Wilbur and appreciate his company. As a solitary kelpie who has been chased by his mother, he feels the weight of the loneliness and enjoy interacting with the foal, sharing his knowledge of the world with him.
Lewis
Vasco is clearly scared of Lewis ; despite being a fullgrown kelpie, Lewis is definitely bigger and Vasco doesn't really enjoy being too close to him, as he knows he is on Lewis' territory. He is still coming again and again to Pleasance, and shows more confidence when Lewis is far from him. He usually run away when Lewis is approaching too much.
